If you get the chance I definitely recommend you head to Leicester Square and visit Disney’s pop up Cinderella exhibition. Sponsored by Swarovski, it features costumes and sets from the film as well as unseen vintage Cinderella artefacts lent from the Disney Archives.

Cinderella is a magical story that filled my childhood and this movie has encapsulated the magic perfectly. The costumes are so intricate and beautifully adorned with thousands of Swarovski crystals that sparkle in the light. In total Swarovski provided costume designer Sandy Powell with over 1.7 million crystals, but the heart of the exhibition and the pivotal part of the film has to be the crystal slipper. Made from a solid Swarovski crystal it has 221 facets and enhanced by a Crystal Blue Aurora Borealis coating that reflects the light. Its stunningly beautiful and has to be seen to be believed.
