Chicago Movie Review

I was recently exposed to the film version of ‘Chicago’ and I can honestly say it does live up to the hype. With the fantastic musical numbers and the blatant competition between the two main girls, it packs a lot of entertainment. The main character does grind your gears at times, and leaves you feeling sorry for her overly average husband, but Renee Zellweger does a fantastic job at portraying this spoilt, heartless human being. Though at some points you feel like it does drag on a little bit, it is made up by the wonderful cell block tango sequence that I was amazed by.

With an equal amount of music, sadness and overly dramatic competition between the characters, it is certainly a film you should put on your bucket list. You definitely won’t regret it.
